Censorship Policy: We are still in the process of formulating one. To uphold the spirit of freedom of speech, we currently have a zero censorship policy on all reviews and comments except for those that contain spam or personal threats. Verifiable reviews: Just to be fair to those who are rated and reviewed, we want our reviews to be verifiable. Actual examples of work relationship, management style, competency, work integrity/ethics, and work experience etc would be helpful. Authenticity of reviews: Just because a social network profile has a name and photo sticked to it, it does not make it any more authentic or trust worthy than an anonymous profile or review. We believe our anonymous reviews are a lot more valuable than user approved one-sided "recommendations" of other professional social networking websites. Reviews detected by our system as unrealistic are automatically deleted.
Preventing abuses: Ensuring the integrity of the reviews is our highest priority. In every review, there are links that take the reader of the review to a list of people who may be able to corroborate the review. For every review, users can leave comments. If users opt to, they may leave comments with their real identities. It is unfortunate that people often tend to associate anonymity with fraud or abuses but such association is yet to be backed up by statistics. The idea of anonymous reviews that can be corroborated is as revolutionary as that of open source software or bitcoin.
Removing profiles and reviews: As a general rule, we do not remove profiles. We will remove all inaccurate reviews, which can be both bad and good reviews, upon receiving five e-mails (e.g. one from subject of the review plus four from coworkers or former coworkers) stating that the reviews are not accurate. All requests for review removal must be sent from real company e-mail addresses (i.e. no free e-mail domains like gmail, ymail, hotmail etc.). Please include the name in e-mail subject and the link to the actual review in the e-mail body. There is ABSOLUTELY NO COST whatsoever involved in getting any review removed. Send all the review removal requests to firstname.lastname@example.org. We promply handle all removal requests to protect the integrity of our data.
